Cool Wallpaper is a free app that allows users to choose from a large selection of phone wallpapers that theft can then use on their phone. Wallpapers can be searched by theme, such as "steampunk", and "anime", as well as many others. Wallpapers can be applied directly from within the app.
This app is similar in function to desktop-based wallpaper apps like Lively Wallpaper, and Bing Wallpaper, though it adds a game-like mechanic where users must earn coins to download wallpapers. Additional coins are earned by watching ads.

Cool Wallpaper offers a large range of high-quality wallpapers that can be searched by theme and type. There are many different themes, meaning most users will be able to find something they like. These include animated wallpapers for phones that support them. Wallpapers can be easily applied to either the home screen or lock screen (or both) from within the app.
